Winter Bushcraft Courses - Glengarriff, Cork


Planning to run some Winter Bushcraft Courses, this Dec and Jan, at our bushcraft base in Glengarriff, Cork.


No overnight sleeping in the woods.
Once dinner is done, you'll finish for the day. Then start again the following morning, fire lighting and cooking breakfast.
Plenty of accommodation in Glengarriff, if you need it.
Completely beginner friendly.
Choose from a two-day or a three-day course.

Bushcraft Training Day - Sun 30th Nov - Glengarriff, Cork

Designed for forest school leaders, outdoor instructors, leave no trace trainers; it is also totally beginner friendly and open to anyone.

Over the day we will be looking at different ways of fire lighting; and different ways of using and rigging tarps.

When it comes to rock climbing - your body is a tool.

How you use your body balance and center of gravity; how you shift your body weight; how you breathe...

Do you face into the climb (square-on), or do you face sideway (side-on)?

Using your leg power/leg energy far more than using your arm power/arm energy is ideal.
