Fabulous weather! Warm, dry, sunshine, mountains of grey cloud drifting above the grey Kerry mountains, good wetsuit drying and no midges. Orange skies at dawn.

Juggling vehicle/trailer logistics as one jeep is in the garage for a few days. Seems to happen every summer.

Potatoes and garlic in the veg boxes nearly ready for harvesting.

Lots of kayaking happening including our sunset trips. Also forest/mountain biking and rock climbing happening.

Entire team of guides, minus Nathan, left Kerry this morning at 5am to guide a large group of scouts on Lugnaquillia in Wicklow.

Marie Lyons does our yearly team first aid course; plus provides courses for our clients. As well as being Mayo based, she offers courses throughout Ireland.

We have just finished our yearly team REC3 Training. Although a REC3 qualification is valid for three years we complete this first aid course each year to stay as sharp as possible. We also run various in-house scenario training over the year, from dealing with a cardiac arrest out hiking to dealing with a broken ankle out canyoning...

Guided by Nathan Kingerlee, this kayak tour explores a new area of Killarney National Park, taking in Muckross Lake, Old Weir Bridge, the haunted ruins of Glena Cottage and the ancient oak woods of Shehy Mountain.
