Eight Mallard Babies

Fair play to this female Mallard; she has managed to successfully sit and hatch eight eggs and so far safely look after her eight beautiful ducklings. Biggest hazard now for them probably a mink.

Otter Cove - Glengarriff Nature Reserve

A little deserted cove in Glengarriff Nature Reserve; usually only visited by the local otter.

Pigeon & Potato Stew

A freshly knocked down wood pigeon, converted into pigeon and potato stew. Potatoes from the garden. Washed down with some homemade blueberry gin. Gin aged about a year now, with coffee beans and oak bark.
