We're running a full-on mountaineering day, traversing the MacGillycuddy Reeks, on Sunday 12th September.
This tough day will take in twelve peaks of the MacGillycuddy Reeks, including The Big Gun, Carrauntoohil and Beenkeragh and will begin at 7am on Sunday morning.

ReplyDeleteThat sounds great. Unfortunatley, I can't make it that weekend as I have a family party to attend. Will you be doing this again and is it walker friendly or will it involve climbing. Really want to do the higher reeks but would love to do so with a guide.

Hi Paul, We hope to run more of these over the year. It involves a little amount of scrambling and a good head for heights.
ReplyDeleteCheers Nathan. I'll keep an eye on the website - would really love to do the reeks walk (done the purples, Cnoc na Bhraca and Cnoc na dTarbh back in Feb). Don't mind a bit of scrambling once it's not too technical!
