Final Pitch of Howling Ridge; crossing The Pinnacles
Climb Ireland's classic mountain scramble, the spectacular and breathtaking Howling Ridge!
This is a two-day course, based in the MacGillycuddy Reeks.
You will spend the first day learning, or improving, scrambling technique, rope work and communication, on easier rocky ridges. You will then spend the second day undertaking a roped ascent of Howling Ridge, high on the north-east face of Carrauntoohil.
The second day is both weather and ability dependant, as good conditions are needed to safely climb this route.
