    Handy blog nathan! How much consolidation is going on up around Caroun? Mixed routes in any sort of nick or getting there? Scotland is pretty plastered and am wondering if should get soem psych on for kerry winter climbing at xmas.

    I was surprised at how solid and hard the ice is in some of the north east facing areas, but no to your question. We could do with some thawing and re-freezing to consolidate anything but the simpler routes... Come to Kerry though and get in the spirit of things!
