On today's kayak trip we were joined by a couple, married less than two weeks, on their honeymoon throughout Ireland... We were lucky enough to both explore the islands and limestone caves, plus land on the 6th century ruins of Innisfallen Abbey, once a leper colony!
You can just make out the toilet, in the protruding tower, at the top right of Ross Castle. There is an internal toilet shaft within the castle walls, which was pretty advanced. The stone toilet seat had space for two or three people to sit side by side at the same time!
