What to look for with Waterproofs

    Lots of info there, thanks! Any tips for re-waxing the waterproofs when they start to let in water? I've a pair that aren't as waterproof as they once were, I'm wondering if they're worth trying to save.

    Hi Lena, Try Nikwax 'Tech Wash' or something similar. You can get it in most outdoor shops and you maching wash your waterproofs with this liquid.
    The washing instructions will be on the tub.

    To preserve your waterproofs for as long as possible try not to rub them against anything, such as a rope, scrambling up against rocks, or sliding down things on your bum or knees.
