Inch Beach - Misty & Mysterious

Guided hike we ran on Inch Beach last Saturday.

The day began misty and warm; then slowly the mist burnt away, the silver sun pierced the overhead greyness, and an avalanche of rolling white cloud flooded down the hills of the Iveragh Peninsula; while the Dingle Peninsula stayed wreathed in mist...

Nice relaxing three hour hike; talking about Saint Patrick and Skellig Michael, Saint Brendan and his journey to America, the 1100's Welsh/Norman Invasion at the invitation of a displaced Irish king, and the Celtic ring forts which top some of the nearby mountains.
