Now officially back (on a somewhat limited basis still) running Mountain Skills, Rock Climbing Skills and Bushcraft Skills.

Officially back running our Glengarriff Bay Sea Kayaking and our Killarney Lakes Kayaking from 26th April.

Bushcraft Skills 1 Coming Up In Kerry - Two Places Available

Two places have come available for a Bushcraft Skills Course in Killarney/Kerry on 30th & 31st Mar.

Spend two days and an overnight in the wilds of a wooded Kerry valley; learning fire making, shelter building, foraging and cooking skills.

Making A Quick Knife

If you are ever stuck for a sharp blade; take a rock and place it in your camp fire until it cracks/shatters. Two out of three times you will end up with these beautifully sharp edges on the shattered rock, suitable for use.

If the edge of the rock you are holding is cutting into your hand - take a handful of moss/bracken/leaves to protect and pad out your hand.
